چکیده
Abstract Linear nonsaturating magnetoresistance (LMR) represents a class of anomalous resistivity response to external magnetic field that has been observed in variety materials including but not limited topological semi-metals, high- T c superconductors and with charge density wave (CDW)/spin orders. Here we report the observation LMR layered kagome superconductor CDW material CsV 3 Sb 5 thin flakes, as well dimensional crossover temperature ( ) such LMR. Specifically, ultrathin crystals, (MR) exhibits from at low quadratic B dependence above transition temperature; MR also sublinear for sample thickness around ?20 nm . We discuss several possible origins attribute effect two-dimensional fluctuations. Our results may provide new perspective understanding interactions between competing orders superconductors.

متن کاملDoped kagome system as exotic superconductor
A Chern-Simons theory for the doped spin-1/2 kagome system is constructed, from which it is shown that the system is an exotic superconductor that breaks time-reversal symmetry. It is also shown that the system carries minimal vortices of flux hc /4e as opposed to the usual hc /2e in conventional superconductors and contains fractional quasiparticles including fermionic quasiparticles with semi...
متن کاملLarge linear magnetoresistance in heavily-doped Nb:SrTiO3 epitaxial thin films
Interaction between electrons has long been a focused topic in condensed-matter physics since it has led to the discoveries of astonishing phenomena, for example, high-Tc superconductivity and colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) in strongly-correlated materials. In the study of strongly-correlated perovskite oxides, Nb-doped SrTiO3 (Nb:SrTiO3) has been a workhorse not only as a conducting substrat...
متن کاملGiant magnetoresistance in ferromagnet/superconductor superlattices.
We show magnetoresistance in excess of 1000% in trilayers containing highly spin-polarized La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 and high-Tc superconducting YBa2Cu3O7. This large magnetoresistance is reminiscent of the giant magnetoresistance (GMR) in metallic superlattices but with much larger values, and originates at spin imbalance due to the injection of spin-polarized carriers. Furthermore, in contrast to ordina...
متن کاملSuperconducting magnetoresistance in ferromagnet/superconductor/ferromagnet trilayers
Magnetoresistance is a multifaceted effect reflecting the diverse transport mechanisms exhibited by different kinds of plain materials and hybrid nanostructures; among other, giant, colossal, and extraordinary magnetoresistance versions exist, with the notation indicative of the intensity. Here we report on the superconducting magnetoresistance observed in ferromagnet/superconductor/ferromagnet...
